Principle of the Electrostatic Spray Gun
The air hose supplies air to the spray gun. Part of the air is used for turbine operation, while the rest is used for atomizing the spraying fluid. The turbine generates power, which is converted into high-voltage current through the electric box for the spray gun electrodes. A pump supplies fluid to the hose and spray gun, where the fluid becomes electrostatically charged as it passes through the electrodes. The charged fluid is attracted to the grounded workpiece, enveloping it and coating all surfaces evenly.

Categories: The spray guns can be categorized by their use into manual powder guns, fixed automatic powder guns, etc. They can also be categorized based on the charging method into internal charge guns and external charge guns.

Spraying Efficiency: The design of the charging mechanism in the powder gun is critical for enhancing spraying efficiency. Overall, the core of the powder coating equipment is the spray gun and the charging system. Currently, the use of intelligent spray guns and electrostatically charged spraying provides the significant advantage of being able to spray all types of thermosetting powder coatings effectively. Its benefits primarily include excellent stability, consistent powder application rates, and fast powder application.
Principle of Automatic Spray Guns
Automatic spray guns feature a pneumatic piston mechanism internally, with a stainless steel spray needle mounted above the piston. A set of high-tension springs is located behind the piston. When the supply of compressed air stops, the springs push the piston and spray needle forward, tightly sealing the liquid passage between the needle and the nozzle. Conversely, when compressed air begins to be supplied, its pressure pushes the piston back, creating a gap between the needle and the nozzle, allowing the liquid to be sprayed out, which then interacts with atomizing air to create a mist.
