Pre-treatment in an E coating line is generally divided into the following categories:

1.  Immersion (Dip Tank) Pre-treatment:

The workpiece is fully submerged in the treatment solution, where chemical reactions or physical actions between the liquid and the surface achieve degreasing, derusting, phosphating, and other processes. This method is suitable for workpieces with regular shapes and flat surfaces, delivering uniform Electrophoresis coating results. However, it requires a relatively large equipment footprint and higher consumption of treatment chemicals.

2. Spray Pre-treatment:

Treatment solutions are sprayed onto the workpiece surface through nozzles to perform rapid cleaning, degreasing, and rust removal. This method is ideal for complex-shaped workpieces with holes or recesses, as it effectively covers all areas, offers high processing efficiency, and requires less floor space. However, it demands precise nozzle arrangement and controlled spray pressure.
