Powder Coating Recovery System
The electrostatic powder coating recovery system originated from dust collection equipment in environmental protection machinery. Its core function is to achieve the separation of the two-phase mixture (gas and solid). The key difference is that the solid phase collected in dust removal is waste, whereas the solid phase recovered here is valuable material for reuse. Various structural filters, such as filter bags and filter cartridges, serve as the primary separation devices. Their working principle relies on filter materials, which act like screens, to capture and retain the powder.

From the perspective of equipment configuration in the coating industry, recovery systems are categorized into single-stage, two-stage, and even three-stage recovery.
-
Single-Stage Recovery uses only a filter separator to recover powder, typically integrated into a single, compact spray booth design.
-
Two-Stage Recovery refers to a system where a cyclone separator is connected in series with a filter separator. This is the most common configuration in existing electrostatic powder coating lines.
-
Three-Stage Recovery adds an additional filter separator after a two-stage system and is employed only for applications with special environmental requirements.
Features of ShengTai Powder Coating Equipment:
-
High-Efficiency Large Cyclone: Utilizing optimized European technology adapted for the Chinese market, achieving a recovery rate of over 95%.
-
Effective Final Recovery: Equipped with a water curtain recovery unit for simple and efficient final-stage powder collection.
-
Optional Automated System: Automatic recovery and sieving systems can be configured to ensure clean, uncontaminated powder recycling, reducing powder consumption and waste.
-
Optimized Booth Design: The spray booth features a fluidized powder collection base, which directly recovers oversprayed powder back to the feed hopper, minimizing cyclone load and loss. Energy-efficient design consumes approximately 1/3 less power compared to similar small cyclone systems.
-
Easy Cleaning: Constructed with a stainless steel base plate and side/top panels made of PP (polypropylene) material, enabling rapid and thorough cleaning.
-
Fast Color Change: Incorporates a single large cyclone two-stage recovery system, widely recognized as one of the fastest recovery systems domestically, with a typical color change time of around 20 minutes.
-
Convenient Maintenance: The large cyclone's lower cone features a hinged quick-release clamp for easy disassembly and cleaning. A shortened internal booth length further reduces booth cleaning time.
-
Advanced Control: The system is equipped with a Siemens HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for easy operation, parameter setting, and troubleshooting. The user-friendly Chinese interface uses graphical symbols and includes functions for parameter setup, alarm messages, maintenance prompts, and password protection, making the entire powder coating equipment line simple to operate and maintain.
