Manual Powder Coating Spraying Gun

The manual air spray gun offers excellent performance and has a wide range of applications, suitable for industries such as furniture, home appliances, construction machinery, automotive interior and exterior parts, 3C industry, and consumer goods.

How to Professionally Adjust the Spray Gun?

How to Professionally Adjust the Spray Gun?

Before using the spray gun, we can quickly and easily adjust it to ensure even film thickness and high-quality spraying. The main areas for adjusting the spray gun include:

1. Atomization of the Spray Gun: Adjust the atomization air pressure to ensure good atomization of the coating. This is typically regulated by the air pressure regulator at the front end of the spray gun; higher pressure results in better atomization. Some manual spray guns have a knob at the base of the gun handle for adjustment.

2. Spray Gun Fan Shape: Control the fan width by adjusting the airflow quantity with the air knob at the back end; adjust the amount of compressed air at the fan holes to achieve either a flat (fully opened) or round (closed) fan effect.

3. Spray Flow Rate: Choose the appropriate size of the nozzle/needle assembly and coating pressure; you can also control the flow rate by changing the stroke of the needle.

How to Properly Spray?

1. Using the manual spray gun correctly allows for optimal performance, helping to increase production efficiency and achieve excellent surface coating results.

2. Maintain a distance of approximately 20 cm (8 inches) from the workpiece surface, spraying vertically. Inconsistent gun distance can lead to uneven spray widths.

3. Avoid using the wrist to spray; instead, move the arm while keeping the spray gun vertical to the workpiece surface.

4. To avoid excessive coating waste at the start and end of spraying, always move the spray gun before pulling the trigger and continue moving it after releasing the trigger.

5. To ensure uniform film thickness on the workpiece surface, overlap each spray pass by 50% for optimal results.

6. For large surface spraying, such as ceilings and bare walls, start with the outer edges and then proceed to the middle.

7. For complex-shaped and hollow parts, first lightly spray the edges, then spray the interior shapes accordingly.
