Fully Automatic Spray Painting Production Line

Fully Automatic Spray Painting Production Line

The spray painting booth is specialized equipment designed to provide a dedicated environment for coating operations. By creating a controlled artificial environment inside the booth, it meets the requirements of temperature, humidity, lighting, and cleanliness for painting processes. At the same time, it offers operators a relatively comfortable and safe working environment, efficiently treats paint mist generated during spraying, and protects coated workpieces from secondary contamination.
A spray booth typically consists of a static and dynamic pressure chamber, a spraying operation chamber, a paint mist treatment system, and an exhaust system. According to paint mist capture methods, spray booths can be divided into dry spray booths and wet spray booths.

Wet Venturi Spray Booth

The wet Venturi spray booth is a classic structure widely used in the coating industry. The wet spray booths provided by ShengTai Painting Equipment adopt a modular design, enabling fast manufacturing and installation. They feature an excellent internal operating environment, high paint mist collection efficiency, and a fully automatic sludge collection system.

Features:

  1. Suitable for mass production, widely applied in industries with decorative requirements such as automotive and machinery manufacturing;

  2. Safe and easy to operate, with low power consumption and low operating costs;

  3. Excellent paint mist treatment performance;

  4. Circulation pipelines are not easily clogged, resulting in minimal maintenance workload;

  5. Filtration efficiency exceeds 99%;

  6. When a throat-type filtration device based on the Venturi principle is arranged at the lower central part of the booth, water consumption is higher than that of water-curtain spray booths.

Dry Spray Booth

A dry spray booth is equipped with a dry overspray separation system installed beneath the booth grating.

Working Principle:
During spraying, air contaminated with paint particles is drawn in and passes through a separation system with filter carts. The carton filter trolley contains a two-stage filtration system. The first stage uses a carton filter with an internationally advanced labyrinth filtration structure, achieving up to 97% paint mist filtration efficiency. A secondary filter is added downstream to further enhance overall filtration performance. Each separation unit can be replaced periodically, and auxiliary equipment monitors system pressure to ensure continuous and stable operation.

Features:

  1. Economical: Converting from wet spraying to dry spraying and adopting air recirculation can significantly reduce coating costs;

  2. Excess paint separation requires no water, no expensive paint sludge treatment (as hazardous waste), no time-consuming sludge discharge, no chemical additives (such as flocculants, defoamers, or biocides), reduces corrosion of spray booth facilities, eliminates pump usage, and lowers power consumption and maintenance costs;

  3. High efficiency;

  4. Strong adsorption capacity: up to 100 kg/m² or higher depending on coating materials; separation efficiency can reach 97%.

Composition of the Spray Painting Production Line

A complete spray painting conveyor line consists of seven major systems:
pretreatment equipment, powder coating system, spray painting equipment, curing oven, heat source system, electrical control system, and overhead conveyor system.
From its composition, it is clear that a complete liquid coating line requires the coordinated operation of all these systems to achieve efficient and high-quality coating production.
