Process Advantages of ShengTai Coating Production Lines

A coating production line is a highly efficient and highly integrated industrial system that sprays coating materials at high speed onto product surfaces according to specified trajectories, flow rates, speeds, and spray patterns, forming coatings with properties such as corrosion resistance, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Coating production lines are generally divided into two types: localized coating lines and full-line coating systems, selected according to different product coating requirements.

A coating production line consists of multiple components, including spray booths, spraying units, air supply systems, lighting systems, ventilation systems, spray guns, conveying systems, heating equipment, dust removal systems, and exhaust gas purification equipment.

Powder Coating Process

Powder coating is currently widely used in industries such as automobiles, machinery and equipment, aluminum alloys, doors and windows, guardrails, control cabinets, and air-conditioner housings.

Process Principle (Type One)

According to the operating principle, coating processes are divided into:

Powder spraying (powder coating), using plastic powder as the raw material.

Paint spraying, forming a paint film on the workpiece surface.

Process Principle (Type Two)

Paint Spraying Process

Paint Coating Process

Advantages:

1. A thick coating can be obtained in a single application. For example, a coating thickness of 100–300 μm can be achieved at once, whereas conventional solvent-based coatings typically require 4–6 applications to reach the same thickness. The resulting coating has excellent corrosion resistance.

2. Powder coatings contain no solvents and generate no "three wastes" (waste gas, wastewater, and solid waste), improving workplace hygiene and causing less harm to the environment and human health.

3. Electrostatic powder coating produces high-quality coatings with strong adhesion.

4. Processes such as electrostatic powder spraying offer high efficiency, a high degree of automation in automatic production lines, and high powder utilization rates, with powder recyclable for reuse.

5. Short curing time, no liquid sagging, and excellent finished surface appearance.

Main Disadvantages:

Powder-coated surfaces are difficult to repair, and the overall cost is relatively high.

Advantages of Our Automatic Coating Equipment

The automatic coating equipment developed and manufactured by our company offers the following advantages:

1. High accuracy: Equipped with a PLC control system, the equipment precisely controls coating flow rate, spray distance, and spraying time to achieve high accuracy.

2. High precision: With an automatic cleaning system, the equipment eliminates interference from dust, dirt, or other impurities, resulting in higher coating precision and smoother application.

3. High efficiency: High-pressure spraying is used during operation, significantly improving coating efficiency and greatly reducing spraying time.

4. Material savings: Automatic detection and control of coating flow, spray distance, and spraying time effectively reduce excessive coating consumption, thereby lowering costs.

5. Environmentally friendly: The equipment is compatible with most non-toxic and harmless coatings available on the market, effectively reducing environmental pollution and overall environmental load.

The coating production lines manufactured by our company are widely used across various industries. Relying on advanced technology and scientific management, they meet the modern industrial demand for flexibility and high efficiency in surface treatment. While enhancing the added value of industrial products, they also reduce production and labor costs, playing a significant role in promoting industrial development.
